About The Position

The School of Nursing at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) invites applications and nominations for a full-time Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner faculty position. This role will involve teaching in Graduate Clinical Programs. The position offers competitive rank, tenure, and salary commensurate with professional background and experience. Requirements

  • Doctoral degree in nursing.
  • Active certification as an Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
  • Unencumbered registered nurse (RN) license (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Alabama.
  • Unencumbered advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) license (or eligible for licensure) in the state of Alabama.
