This position provides comprehensive instructional and participant support services within Family Partnership’s adult education program. The ESL Instructor develops and delivers engaging instruction in English as a Second Language (ESL) across classroom, small group, and individual learning settings. Instruction may also include Supplemental learning experiences/opportunities (ie Book Clubs, Reading Conversation Club, Cultural Exchange Workshops, Family Literacy) through Interdisciplinary/cross teaming/ collaboration with GED Instructor, Parent Educator, Employment and Career Specialist, Case Managers. The role manages participant intake and assessment processes—including orientations, CASAS testing, literacy and goal-setting activities—and maintains accurate student documentation. The instructor facilitates workshops, supports internships and worksite development opportunities, and collaborates closely with program supervisors and staff to ensure coordinated academic and supportive services for adult learners pursuing educational, workforce, and personal development goals. This position also supports the reporting needs for all grant requirements associated with Family Partnership. Supervision is received from the Human Services Manager.
