Adult ED Nurse Practitioner, Per Diem
About The Position
Saint Peter's University Hospital is seeking a full-time Adult Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant to join its Adult Emergency Departments. Saint Peter's is bringing the Emergency Medicine service line fully in-house and actively expanding the Adult and Pediatric Emergency Departments. We are recruiting multiple providers to build a larger, high-quality, hospital-employed emergency medicine group. Saint Peter's University Hospital is a non-profit, 478-bed acute care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. Saint Peter's brings the latest medical practices and highly skilled professionals to the bedside. We employ more than 3,600 healthcare professionals and support personnel, and more than 1,000 doctors and dentists are on staff at our hospital. We treat more than 23,000 inpatients and more than 245,000 outpatients yearly. Major academic and community-based medical center providing comprehensive emergency and specialty services. Centrally located with easy access to New York City and Philadelphia.
Requirements
- National board certification as Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (AGACNP) or Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) through ANCC or AANP required.
- Current Advance Practice Nursing licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of New Jersey.
- Master's or Doctoral degree in nursing required
- Current CDS and DEA required.
- BLS, ACLS certification required (American Heart Association).
- Must qualify for Saint Peter's University Hospital Liability insurance.
Nice To Haves
- One (1) - Two (2) years emergency medicine or acute care experience strongly preferred
