This position is for you! You can make a difference by providing care and support to the individuals we serve in our community-based Day Program. The role involves assisting in the daily care of health-impaired older adults or individuals with brain injuries, intellectual/developmental disabilities, emotional or behavioral disabilities, or mental health diagnoses. You will assist with the development and implementation of individual and group activity programs, support the care, safety, security, and social/recreational activities of individuals receiving services, and assist individuals with daily living needs, including personal hygiene, bathing, bathroom assistance, grooming, meal preparation, and medication administration. Additionally, you will provide guidance with social skills, advocacy, and self-esteem while teaching strategies to promote greater independence, and transport individuals to medical appointments, errands, shopping, and activities in the community.
