About The Position
Lester Place serves children and youth who have intellectual and developmental disabilities. Through assessment and therapeutic, behavioral and medical interventions, a multidisciplinary team works to stabilize each youth and help them transition back to their families or to a lower level of care. This structured program includes education and/or vocational training, community involvement, nursing, life skills and social skills training. Therapy is provided to both the youth and their family.
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work or Psychology.
- At least 3 years of experience with youth/adolescents required.
- Supervisory experience required.
- Driver's license must be in good standing, with no recent suspensions or violations of careless/reckless driving or excessive speeding of more than 20 MPH, and no more than 2 moving violations within the last 3 years.
Responsibilities
- Administration and supervision of the programs at Lester Place.
- Supervising staff and monitoring statistical information.
- Representing program in the community, as requested.
- Planning, developing & evaluating program to meet overall organizational goals/objectives.
- Providing after hours coverage as appropriate and as indicated.
- Following all PI, HR, budget, contract requirements pursuant to the daily operations related to program functioning.
- Ensuring program maintains daily census pursuant to contract requirements.
- Demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to any age-related needs of the consumers served.
- Managing budgets and financial responsibilities for programs and ensuring billing is completed weekly and followed up on.
- Preparing budget and monthly variance reports.
- On call duties.
- Developing crisis plans as needed.
- Providing 24/7 eyesight supervision of consumers.
- Ensuring case management duties are completed and compliant with regulations and policies.
