About The Position

District Medical Group (DMG), a 450+ provider multi-specialty group, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Adolescent Medicine physician. This role involves working with a safety net population, teaching, and focusing on clinical quality. The physician will join a pediatric department at a public, teaching hospital in Phoenix, AZ, which is a major affiliate of Creighton University School of Medicine and the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. The hospital offers comprehensive pediatric services including a 24-hour Pediatric Emergency Department, a 10-bed Pediatric in-patient unit, a 6-bed PICU, a busy newborn nursery, a Level III NICU, and multiple federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) for pediatric primary care. The position focuses on comprehensive outpatient services for adolescents, covering eating disorders, sexual and reproductive health, and integrated mental health. The role includes opportunities to work with pediatric residents and medical students, as the pediatric residency program is in partnership with Phoenix Children’s Hospital. There are also opportunities for involvement in research and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in Adolescent Medicine.
