Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician
About The Position
This is a Locum Tenens position for a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician in Dayton, OH. The role involves both inpatient and outpatient services, with coverage needed ASAP and ongoing. The physician will monitor and supervise paramedics and ambulances via radio, and will also supervise Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) and residents. ED physicians are responsible for writing admission orders only, with on-duty residents managing all care orders. EKG interpretations are initially performed by the ED MD and then reviewed by Cardiologists. The facility has a Fast Track ED staffed by an MD or APP. Deliveries are not handled in the ED. The facility is equipped with NICU, ACLS, and a transport team, but does not utilize air ambulance services.
Requirements
- Active OH License or willing to obtain
- Board Certified (BC)
- BLS certification
- ATLS certification
- PALS certification
