Requirements

  • A warm, professional demeanor with the ability to converse compassionately with patients and families under stress.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Electronic Health Records (EHR) and standard office software.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in insurance, data entry, and compliance paperwork.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills with attention to detail is required.
  • A valid driver’s license, personal vehicle, and auto insurance with minimum coverage of 100,00/300,00 are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Two (2) years’ experience in diversified office work is preferred.
  • Experience with health insurance billing procedures preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Respond promptly and warmly to incoming calls and walk-in referrals, guiding them through the initial inquiry process.
  • Complete phone and in-person screenings, maintaining accurate call logs and processing referrals to ensure a seamless intake preparation.
  • Send welcome packets, schedule intake appointments, and act as a liaison between families and clinical staff.
  • Gather essential information, update ABN forms, and manage Medicare/insurance verification and prior authorization renewals.
  • Ensure 100% completion of new client paperwork and meticulous data entry into our Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
