About The Position

Madame Tussauds New York is seeking an Admissions Shift Lead to lead an energetic team at one of New York City's most iconic attractions. This role focuses on creating unforgettable experiences and delivering memorable moments for guests from around the world.

Requirements

• Customer service experience
• At least 6 months of experience in attractions, entertainment, hospitality, tourism, retail, or other guest-focused industries
• A fun, positive, and outgoing personality
• A passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• A team-first mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
• Comfort using technology, office software, and operational systems
• Commitment to safety, professionalism, and operational excellence

Responsibilities

• Delegate and oversee daily responsibilities for front-line team members.
• Motivate, coach, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional guest service.
• Provide performance feedback and support team member development.
• Ensure every guest receives a warm welcome and world-class service.
• Respond to guest questions, concerns, and feedback with professionalism and care.
• Support guest recovery efforts and empower team members to do the same.
• Manage guest flow and queues to create a safe, smooth, and enjoyable experience.
• Train and develop Guest Experience Hosts across key operational areas.
• Maintain training documentation and records.
• Support admissions, lobby, Fast Track, and entrance operations.
• Uphold all health and safety standards and ensure team compliance.
• Assist with audits, employee engagement initiatives, and special projects as needed.
