About The Position

Wekiva Springs Center is seeking a full-time Admissions Clinician to join their team. The center is restructuring its Admissions process and is looking for clinicians to screen and implement the admissions process for incoming patients. The role also involves assisting in the implementation of the clinical process across all aspects of patient care for various populations, including geo-psych, chemically dependent adults, and adult psych patients. The Clinician is expected to apply appropriate theories to psychiatric clinical practice to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Requirements

Master’s degree in Psychology or Social Work, or must be a Licensed Registered Nurse within the State of Florida
One year of experience in psychiatric or addictions

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred
Some experience with intake or triage

Responsibilities

Screen and implement the admissions process of incoming patients into the facility
Assist in implementation of the clinical process in all aspects of patient care for all patient populations including geo-psych, chemically dependent adults, adult psych as needed
Assure a comprehensive approach to patient care by applying appropriate theories to psychiatric clinical practice for all patients
