About The Position

The Admissions Recruiter establishes and maintains close working relationships with educational contacts to schedule on-site visits with students and parents. This role participates in college recruitment efforts, both in-state and out-of-state, to promote the University’s programs. The recruiter distributes resource materials, provides information about the University, and arranges campus tours for prospective students and parents. Additionally, this position contributes to the development of student recruitment and retention plans, strategies, and materials, and serves as a liaison to foster partnerships between the university and local school systems. The role involves responding to inquiries from students and agencies within assigned geographic areas, participating in the development of department goals, and recommending/implementing policies and procedures to improve operations. The Admissions Recruiter also assists in the development, marketing, and implementation of recruitment/enrollment activities, ensuring enrollment goals for applications, acceptances, and enrolled students are met. A current understanding of academic and student life activities is essential. Other duties as assigned.

  • Serves as a liaison to develop partnerships between the university and local school systems throughout the state.
  • Responds to inquiries from students and agencies in assigned geographic areas of responsibility.
  • Participates in the development of department goals and objectives.
  • Recommends, implements, and administers policies and procedures to enhance operations.
  • Assists in the development, marketing, and implementation of recruitment/enrollment activities.
  • Ensures enrollment goals are achieved regarding application, acceptance, and enrolled students.
  • Maintains a current working knowledge of academic and student life activities.
