About The Position

The Admissions Recruiter promotes the University’s programs and supports student recruitment and enrollment. The role builds relationships with educational contacts, recruits students in statewide and out-of-state markets, provides information and resources to prospective students, and coordinates campus tours. It also contributes to recruitment and retention planning, partnerships with local school systems, department objectives, policies, and enrollment activities. The recruiter works toward enrollment goals for applications, acceptances, and enrolled students and maintains current knowledge of academic and student life activities.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain close working relationships with educational contacts to schedule on-site visits with students and parents.
• Participate in statewide and out-of-state college recruitment to promote the University’s programs.
• Distribute resource materials for student recruitment.
• Provide information about the University to students and arrange campus tours for prospective students and parents.
• Participate in developing student recruitment and retention plans, strategies, and written materials.
• Serve as a liaison to develop partnerships between the University and local school systems throughout the state.
• Respond to inquiries from students and agencies in assigned geographic areas.
• Participate in developing department goals and objectives.
• Recommend, implement, and administer policies and procedures to enhance operations.
• Assist in developing, marketing, and implementing recruitment and enrollment activities.
• Work to ensure enrollment goals are achieved for applications, acceptances, and enrolled students.
• Maintain current working knowledge of academic and student life activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
