About The Position

Are you ready to contribute to the academic excellence of Bucknell University? We're looking for a detail-oriented and insightful individual to become an integral part of our Office of Admissions. This position is remote except for two days of on-campus training that takes place during the first week of November. This position requires the candidate to work from a home office or location within the state of Pennsylvania.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Three (3) years of experiences in Admissions and/or related field
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality, work with sensitive issues and meet deadlines
  • Detail oriented, ability to multitask, take initiative and work in a team environment and exercise sound judgment
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and computer skills
  • Knowledge of and appreciation for highly selective liberal arts institutions
  • Must be authorized to work in the US without a need for current or future visa sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior Application reader experience
  • Ability to review and synthesize applications and supporting documents using critical thinking and analysis skills to effectively and succinctly summarize strengths and merits

Responsibilities

  • Review and evaluate applications
  • Project assistance including, but not limited to: GPA recalculation, verifying and checking transcripts and grades
  • The job description's listed responsibilities and tasks are not exhaustive, additional non-essential tasks and responsibilities may be assigned as needed
