About The Position

The Clare is recruiting a hospitality-focused Admissions Nurse to clinically admit residents to Skilled Nursing. The role supports the Admissions & Outreach Manager throughout the admissions process, from initial inquiry through move-in, and helps ensure residents’ clinical and equipment needs are met. The nurse also completes pre-admission assessments, collaborates with the LCS Clinical Consultant, and ensures admission practices comply with applicable regulations. The position pays $80,000–$95,000 and is scheduled Tuesday through Saturday, 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Employees must provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or obtain an approved exemption as a condition of employment. The employer may also ask about vaccination status for MMR, chicken pox, hepatitis, and flu.

Requirements

Registered nursing license in the State of Illinois.
A minimum of 3–5 years of experience in admissions, intake, or case management in a senior living, long-term care, or healthcare setting.
Experience evaluating clinical information and making placement decisions.

Responsibilities

Clinically admit new residents to Skilled Nursing.
Ensure necessary equipment is in place to meet residents’ needs.
Support the Admissions & Outreach Manager in managing all aspects of the admissions process, from initial inquiry through move-in.
Complete onsite or virtual pre-admission assessments at hospitals and other care settings as directed.
Collaborate with the LCS Clinical Consultant to ensure consistency with LCS standards.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations governing admission practices.
