As the first point of contact for prospective residents, families, and referral partners, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and welcoming admission process while supporting census growth and delivering exceptional customer service. Requirements

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and electronic medical records.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, compassionate, and team-oriented attitude.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous admissions, healthcare, or customer service experience preferred.
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or post-acute care experience is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of Medicare, Medi-Cal, managed care, and insurance verification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage the resident admission process from referral through admission.
  • Communicate with hospitals, case managers, physicians, families, and referral sources regarding admissions.
  • Verify insurance coverage and gather required documentation for incoming residents.
  • Conduct facility tours for prospective residents and families.
  • Maintain accurate admission records and ensure all paperwork is completed in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Collaborate with nursing, social services, therapy, and interdisciplinary teams to facilitate seamless resident transitions.
  • Track referrals, admissions, and census data.
  • Provide exceptional customer service while representing Medical Hill Healthcare in a professional manner.
  • Assist with marketing and community outreach efforts as needed.
