About The Position

This role involves planning, directing, and supervising the activities of the OA and Career Transition Services Programs. The manager will be responsible for ensuring proper planning, scheduling, and effective implementation of all program activities. This includes preparing and submitting reports, maintaining student progress records, ensuring case notes and PCDPs are up to date, adhering to cohort enrollment and case management efforts for two industry clusters (Health Care and Construction), and assessing personnel including promotions, transfers, merit evaluations, and performance appraisals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and two years related supervisory experience OR; Associate’s degree in human services, psychology, counseling, education, social science, business, communications, or closely related field, and four years related supervisory experience
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record preferred.
  • Required to pass a drug screen in compliance with our Substance Abuse and Drug-Free Workplace policy.
  • Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a nationwide criminal background check.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, directs, and supervises the activities of the OA and Career Transition Services Programs.
  • Ensures proper planning, scheduling, and effective implementation of all activities in program areas.
  • Prepares and submits reports as required.
  • Ensures proper records on student progress are maintained by the OA/ Career Transition Department.
  • Ensures that case notes and PCDPs are up to date per PRH.
  • Adheres to cohort enrollment, case management efforts, and career transition services of two (2) industry clusters (Health Care and Construction).
  • Assesses personnel promotions, transfers, and merit evaluations within the department.
  • Conducts and prepares performance appraisals.
