Responsible for providing transitional, placement, and follow up services to former enrollees and graduates in compliance with government and management directives. This role serves as the principal point of contact for graduates and former enrollees during their transition, placement, and follow-up periods. The specialist will initiate transitional support referrals, contact employers and one-stop centers to arrange interviews, and make regular contact with former students to provide services and document interactions in the automated case management system. Verification, documentation, and reporting of placements meeting PRH requirements are key duties, as is maintaining communication with career development specialists, instructors, and workforce development centers. The role also involves producing placement and follow-up reports and performing other assigned duties.
