About The Position

CIMT College is looking for an Admissions Advisor for immediate hire. Experience in the Ontario Career College or Education sector will be considered an asset. Admissions Advisors are responsible for recruiting and enrolling students for various Vocational programs and Non-Vocational courses by converting leads received by CIMT College. As an Admissions Advisor for CIMT College, you are expected to proactively and professionally engage with leads, and help them achieve their educational and career goals. You will play a crucial role in assisting prospective students throughout the admissions process and will serve as a primary point of contact for individuals interested in enrolling in our programs, guiding them through the application process, providing information about our programs and services, and ensuring a smooth transition into their chosen program.

Requirements

A minimum of 1 year of experience in college admissions, student recruitment, or a related field.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service and sales abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking skills
Knowledge of educational programs, admissions processes, and relevant regulations
Proficiency in MS Office applications and CRM software
Flexible and available to work onsite as per the campus schedule.
Adhere to all CIMT College Policies and Procedures
Comply with all regulatory standards as set out by the Ministry of Colleges and Universities and OCC Act 2005

Nice To Haves

Experience in the Ontario Career College or Education sector
Experience in an Ontario college setting
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

Responsibilities

Conduct consultations with prospective students to understand their educational goals, career aspirations, and program interests.
Provide detailed information about CIMT College's programs, including curriculum, admission requirements, tuition fees, financial aid options, and student support services.
Assist students with the completion of application forms, ensuring accuracy and completeness of required documentation.
Evaluate applicants' qualifications and eligibility for admission based on established criteria and guidelines.
Process student applications efficiently and accurately, including data entry and documentation management.
Maintain regular communication with applicants to provide updates on their application status, address inquiries, and offer support as needed.
Employ effective sales techniques to convert inquiries into enrolled students, meeting or exceeding enrollment targets.
Cultivate positive relationships with prospective students, alumni, and external stakeholders to promote CIMT College and enhance the admissions experience.
Represent CIMT College at recruitment events, career fairs, and other outreach activities to attract prospective students and promote awareness of our programs.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, ethical guidelines, and college policies in all admissions activities.
