About The Position

Admissions Ambassadors are the face of Drury University for prospective students and their families. As a key member of the Admissions team, you will create welcoming and memorable campus experiences through guided tours, personal interactions, and administrative support. This role is perfect for students who are passionate about Drury and eager to share their experiences with future Panthers.

Requirements

  • Must be a full-time, day school student enrolled in at least 12 credit hours per semester.
  • Strong knowledge of Drury University’s history, academic offerings, student organizations, and campus resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • A welcoming and positive attitude, with a natural ability to make people feel at home.
  • Reliability, professionalism, and attention to detail.
  • Must have some availability during the scheduled tour times (M-F, 10 am, 11 am, 2 pm, 3 pm)
  • Must have a completed FAFSA on file with Financial Aid for the current academic year
  • Must be responsible, dependable, and must have a professional appearance

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Springfield and the surrounding Ozarks region, including local attractions and events.
  • Prior experience in customer service, hospitality, public speaking, or other roles involving interpersonal communication.
  • Current second- or third-year Drury student with a strong understanding of campus life, traditions, and academic programs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead dynamic and informative walking and golf cart tours of campus, highlighting Drury’s academic programs, student life, and traditions.
  • Personalize tours based on the interests of prospective students, making each visit engaging and unique.
  • Represent Drury with enthusiasm, professionalism, and an exceptional commitment to hospitality.
