About The Position

Wipro Limited is seeking an Administrator L3 with experience in network design, installation, configuration, upgrades, and operations. The role involves deploying new network infrastructure, enabling connectivity for OCI regions and child sites, and developing automation scripts (Python preferred) to streamline manual deployment efforts. The position also supports scaling existing infrastructure, building and managing data center fabrics, edge, backbone, and metro fiber networks, and executing region builds, DRCC/Alloy expansions, multi-cloud integrations, and Butterfly turn-ups. Additionally, the role involves operating and building CI/CD pipeline environments using GitHub and OCI’s internal tools for automated deployments, leveraging expertise in various networking protocols and hardware, and executing Jira ticket assignments related to Network infrastructure RNS projects. Excellent communication skills and attendance/coordination in team and project meetings are essential.

Requirements

Working experience on Routers and Switches - Design, installation, configuration, upgrades and operations
Proficiency in network protocols and standards including TCP/IP, DHCP,DNS,VRRP, SNMP, STP/RSTP, VLANS, Routing protocols (ISIS/OSPF/BGP).
Experience with BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, VPN, SSL
Experience working with Arista, Cisco and other network hardware.
Experience with Python for scripting and automation.
Experience with GitHub.
Experience with Jira ticket assignments.
Excellent Communication skills.
3-5 Years of experience.
Cisco Routing and Switching.

Nice To Haves

Experience with OCI’s internal tools for automated deployments.

Responsibilities

Design, installation, configuration, upgrades, and operations of Routers and Switches.
Deploying greenfield network infrastructure and enabling connectivity for new OCI regions and child sites.
Developing scripts and automation (Python preferred) to reduce manual deployment effort.
Supporting brownfield scaling including CFAB rack adds, compute expansions, server rack adds and decommissions.
Building and managing data center fabrics, edge, backbone, and metro fiber networks.
Executing region builds, DRCC/Alloy expansions, multi-cloud integrations, and Butterfly turn-ups.
Operating and Build CI/CD pipeline environment using GitHub and OCI’s internal tools for automated deployments.
Leveraging networking expertise across BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, TCP/IP, IPv4, IPv6, DNS, DHCP, IPSEC, VPN, SSL, and working with Arista, Cisco and other network hardware.
Execution of Jira ticket assignments that relate to Network infrastructure RNS projects.
Excellent Communication skills.
Attendance and coordination of team and project meetings.
