About The Position

Wipro is hiring an Administrator L1 to support data center, technical lab, server room, infrastructure-support, or field-services operations. The role involves working with rack-mounted equipment and related server, storage, network, power-distribution, and structured-cabling infrastructure. The successful candidate will use asset-management and ticketing systems, follow technical procedures, maintain accurate asset and configuration records, and coordinate or escalate work as appropriate. The position requires safe work practices in an active lab or data center environment. Compensation is expected to range from $25,000 to $50,000, with final compensation dependent on factors including geographic location, minimum-wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. The role is eligible for Wipro's standard benefits, including medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off inclusive of sick leave, and other paid and unpaid leave options. Employment in some roles may be conditioned on successful completion of a post-offer drug screening, subject to applicable state law.

Requirements

• Previous hands-on experience in a data center, technical lab, server room, infrastructure-support, or field-services environment.
• Experience installing, moving, cabling, troubleshooting, or decommissioning rack-mounted equipment.
• Working knowledge of server hardware, storage equipment, network devices, power distribution, and structured cabling.
• Experience using ServiceNow, CMDB, asset-management, inventory, or ticketing systems.
• Basic understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, switching, device-management interfaces, and network troubleshooting.
• Ability to read rack elevations, cable maps, device lists, technical instructions, and deployment documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate asset and configuration data.
• Ability to follow procedures, manage assigned work independently, and escalate issues appropriately.
• Strong written and verbal communication, customer service, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work safely in an active lab or data center environment.
• Mandatory skill: Datacenter - Wintel Stack.
