The Administrator provides oversight and direction for the daily operations of the Drug Diversion Prevention, Detection and Response Program. The Administrator is accountable for all aspects of drug diversions education, prevention, monitoring, investigation and reporting network wide.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 15+ years experience conducting investigations, interviewing witnesses, and investigative report processing.
  • experience teaching in area of expertise and facilitating change in diverse multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures DEA and Controlled Substance regulatory compliance and risk mitigation surrounding pharmaceutical controlled substance across the enterprise.
  • Responsible for Controlled Substance regulatory compliance and drug diversion prevention, detection, training, and enterprise compliance for the drug diversion program.
  • Collaborates, supports and provides expertise to other programs within the enterprise including, but not limited to; investigations, pharmacy operations, clinical surveillance tools, medication-related automation, and data analytics.
  • Works collaboratively with all relevant departments and facilities during drug diversion investigations and serves as a controlled substance and drug diversion subject matter expert.
  • Coordinates the identification of "outlier" facilities and coordinates appropriate actions and remediates the appropriate corrective action plan.
  • Coordinates and participates in "mock" compliance inspections to maximize facility readiness for remediation effectiveness.
  • Analyzes diversion data for trends and identifies system wide opportunities for process improvement.
  • Possesses an understanding of federal and state health care program requirements, and controlled Substance regulatory and enforcement policies.
  • Ensures facility adherence to the Network Drug Diversion Prevention Program.
