About The Position

The Administrator of Data and Performance is responsible for overseeing data management, performance reporting, contract oversight, and grant administration for the Division of Community Services. This role ensures data integrity, supports strategic decision making and manages key operational initiatives. This position also collaborates with leadership, government agencies and community partners to enhance accountability, transparency and service delivery across the division.

Requirements

  • Seven (7) or more years’ experience in data analysis, performance management, grant administration and/or contract management
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Public Administration, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics or a related field
  • Experience in public sector or nonprofit environment preferred
  • An equivalent combination of related education and/or experience.
  • PROOF OF EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

  • Leads division-wide data collection, validation analysis and reporting for all agencies within the Division of Community Services.
  • Serves as key advisor to leadership on performance trends, operational risks and strategic opportunities.
  • Manages database and local spreadsheets used for case management and operational reporting.
  • Designs and develops reports utilizing agency systems and custom report building tools.
  • Oversees and maintain backend data systems supporting forms and reporting processes.
  • Ensures data accuracy, integrity and consistency through ongoing quality assurance and process improvements.
  • Establishes consensus for standardized data definitions and reporting methodologies to promote alignment across agencies.
  • Collaborate with administrators, directors, and managers to enhance data governance and improve reporting processes.
  • Produce dashboards, reports and presentations.
  • Provides analytical insights and performance metrics to support executive decision making.
  • Manage the full life cycle of assigned contracts and grants, including solicitation, application development, budgeting, submission and programmatic compliance.
  • Responds to data requests from leadership, the Mayor’s office, Commissioners, Community partners and Grantors.
  • Provides direct supervision to support staff.
