About The Position

The Administrator provides overall leadership and oversight of intake, assessment, and intervention services to ensure timely, consistent, and effective care for youth. Integrates assessment and intervention processes, supervises service delivery teams, and ensures individualized plans are informed by comprehensive evaluations and evidence-based practices. Promotes cross-functional collaboration, ensures continuity of care, monitors program quality and compliance, and develops high-performing staff aligned with trauma-informed care models.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in Social Work, Child Psychology, Counseling, Human Services Administration or related field is required. Equivalent experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in residential childcare is required, preferably in a structured care setting. A minimum of 8 years is required if substituted for a degree.
  • A minimum of 1 year’s staff supervision is required.
  • Knowledge of trauma-informed care, behavior management, and child development required.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills required.
  • Bending, lifting, grasping, fine hand/eye coordination, pushing/pulling, and prolonged sitting/standing.
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Must possess or be able to obtain a CDL within 3 months of employment.
  • Basic competency in Microsoft Office for Windows applications (word processing, database, spreadsheet, e-mail, presentation graphics, etc.).
  • Must be proficient in general office equipment operation.
  • Must possess exceptional time management and detail-orientation skills.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Must be available for travel as needed.
  • Must be willing to live on campus. (Housing Provided)

Nice To Haves

  • A minimum of 4 years’ experience in behavior management is preferred.
  • Understanding of Texas licensing standards and regulatory requirements preferred.
  • Experience in challenge course facilitation and equine growth and learning preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee intake, assessment, and intervention processes to ensure appropriate evaluation of youth and alignment with individualized service planning.
  • Lead the implementation of intervention strategies grounded in brain development, relational health, and trauma-informed, evidence-based practices.
  • Ensure continuity of care by integrating services across departments, aligning assessment outcomes with treatment planning and placement decisions.
  • Provide leadership during high-risk situations, including oversight of crisis intervention services and participation in on-call support as needed.
  • Facilitate multidisciplinary team meetings and intensive case reviews, promoting coordinated decision-making for complex cases and ongoing youth progress.
  • Monitor program performance and compliance with licensing standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies, while supporting continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop Intervention Services staff, fostering accountability, professional growth, and adherence to established standards of care.
  • Coordinate structured programming and daily operations, including scheduling, documentation, resident supervision, and participation in organizational meetings and training.
  • Support program administration and operations, including budget-related activities, staff recruitment and retention efforts, and collaboration on special projects and service enhancements.
