About The Position

JumpFly is seeking an experienced and highly organized Administrator, Accounts Payable & Receivable professional to support the financial and administrative operations of the company. This role works closely with the President, Founders, and Director of Human Resources and plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting payroll operations, and managing retirement plan administration. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, proactive, and comfortable handling confidential financial information in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of accounting, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll experience
  • Must have a Bachelor's Degree
  • Strong QuickBooks experience required
  • Experience processing payroll; Paycor experience is a plus
  • Knowledge of retirement plan administration, including SIMPLE IRA programs
  • Strong Excel and Google Workspace skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Comfortable interacting with clients and company leadership
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally
  • Must be able to work onsite in Hoffman Estates, Illinois as part of the hybrid schedule

Responsibilities

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Prepare and send client invoices
  • Monitor incoming payments and collections
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
  • Process monthly company expenses and vendor payments
  • Maintain accurate financial records in QuickBooks
  • Process semi-monthly payroll accurately and on schedule
  • Administer commission calculations and distributions
  • Support payroll reporting and related documentation
  • Coordinate with HR on employee compensation matters
  • Manage SIMPLE IRA contributions and reporting
  • Coordinate retirement plan payments with the company’s broker
  • Ensure timely and accurate retirement account administration
  • Work closely with company leadership on operational and financial initiatives
  • Assist with reporting, spreadsheets, and financial documentation
  • Support internal processes requiring organization, discretion, and attention to detail
