About The Position

The Division of Parks and Recreation is a two-time National Gold Medal Award winner for best managed state park system in the country. The Division manages 10 state nature preserves, and 12 other sites outside of the parks and monitors over 100 conservation easements protecting more than 4,000 acres of land. The Division protects cultural and historic resources and provides a wide variety of recreational facilities for Delawareans and visitors.
