We are currently seeking an Administrative Support Technician (Workstation Testing) to join our dynamic team supporting our client in Oklahoma City. Objectstream, Inc. is seeking a reliable and detail oriented Administrative Support Technician (Workstation Testing) to assist with a short-term project involving the setup, testing, and validation of computer workstations. This role requires hands-on work with equipment, accurate documentation, and adherence to established setup and testing procedures. The ideal candidate will be physically capable, organized, and able to follow instructions in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to follow instructions and diagrams accurately
  • Basic familiarity with computer hardware (preferred but not required)
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
  • Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods
  • Capability to safely handle and move technical equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in IT support or hardware setup
  • Prior experience in Warehouse or logistics operations
  • Prior experience in Equipment testing or quality assurance
  • Experience working in a team-based environment

Responsibilities

  • Unpack computer equipment from pallets and prepare for setup
  • Connect workstations to power sources and required components
  • Assemble and configure workstations based on provided diagrams and training
  • Ensure proper placement and setup of all equipment components
  • Perform testing of computer workstations to ensure functionality
  • Follow defined testing procedures and quality standards
  • Identify and document any issues, defects, or inconsistencies
  • Log the condition and status of each piece of equipment tested
  • Maintain accurate records of completed tests and observations
  • Ensure data is recorded in alignment with project expectations
  • Safely repack tested equipment onto pallets
  • Maintain organization of equipment and workspace
  • Follow safety protocols while handling equipment
  • Meet daily testing targets set by the project team
  • Maintain consistent work pace aligned with productivity expectations
  • Contribute to timely completion of project deliverables within schedule
