About The Position

This Administrative position is to support the team by collaborating with operations, the customer and carrier to gather information that will be put into daily, weekly reports and sent back to the group. The leadership of this position is critical to ensure our customer receives timely communication.

Requirements

  • Three (3) years’ experience in an administrative or support role
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Deadline oriented with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in the logistics/transportation industry preferred

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting for the entire District including but not limited to; On time, OS&D, piece count, free astray, and summary reports
  • Lead and attend daily, weekly, and monthly conference calls with Customers and Operations team members regarding service
  • Monitor and handle any escalated customer service issues
  • Receive freight claims from customer delivery points including dealerships and stores
  • Communicate directly with customers via phone and email to ensure all claim documentation is received per customer claim guidelines
  • Investigate claims and research delivery information
  • Track and document status of claims
  • Work closely with Operations to resolve any outstanding issues
  • Provide additional admin support where needed
  • Other duties as assigned
