ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBLITIES AND TASKS: May prepare, process, and review forms for system input. Demonstrates proficient and comprehensive knowledge of defined skill areas/applications to integrate fundamental elements from other specialties into work assignments. Applies knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of a particular field of specialization to complete difficult assignments. Interpret and communicate information, ideas and instructions clearly, accurately and persuasively both verbally and in writing including materials intended for distribution. Incorporate new facts and ideas into group processes and apply creative thinking to develop new solutions. Create a positive working environment by contributing to a fully functioning office setting through organization, communication, and time management. Assist staff members in meeting deliverables on business matters and tracking department relevant data. Respond to routine and complex questions/issues concerning unit policies, processes, and procedures from internal and external contacts. Create and maintain files, databases, and reports. Maintain confidential and/or sensitive information and materials. Monitor and maintain budget, track expenditures, process budget revisions, and assist with budget preparation as needed. Generate, prepare, and maintain financial reports and spreadsheets. Compile and organize information from different sources to develop agendas, meeting materials, and reports. Arrange meeting and other functions as needed. Answer and direct calls to appropriate personnel while maintaining professionalism Serve as resource to others on a variety of subjects including office equipment, software application usage, and information processing procedures.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
  • Strong initiative and solid judgment with ability to self-manage his/her time.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships both within and outside the organization.
  • Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well with others in fast paced, dynamic environment.
