The position involves skilled administrative work supporting compliance with and enforcement of the Unified Government Occupation Tax ordinance and various other ordinances as they apply to businesses. Thorough knowledge of tax and licensing ordinances and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), and the ability to apply this knowledge in any given business situation are requirements that will be learned through extensive personal effort and on the job training.
