Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED required and at least 1 year experience in a progressive position equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skill in using Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of business math (e.g. arithmetic, algebra, ratio, etc.).
  • Clerical skills sufficient to maintain organized work processes, files, and records.
  • Problem-solving skills: listening to, interpreting, and meeting the needs of others; diagnosing and rectifying problems.
  • Skill in following through on commitments.
  • Ability to manage time in a deadline driven environment.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Ability to work independently with some direction.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Tech Flex training program, monitor class progress, recruit candidates for the program.
  • Assist with special events for customers.
  • Monitor, maintain, and order a stock of office supplies for all locations.
  • Distribute materials, including the mail, to all locations.
  • Maintain proficiency in data entry, computerized systems, and other technologies as required.
  • Prepares and maintains various reports requested by management.
  • Prepare written and electronic correspondence.
  • Coordinate activities as directed by the Branch Manager and VP of Distribution.
  • May provide administrative and clerical support to management and other departments, which may include the Corporate Office, Sales and Operations.
  • Assists with special duties and assignments as needed to support the efficient functioning of the store or group, as assigned by the Accounting Supervisor and/or Controller.
