The Administrative Support Representative provides administrative and operational support to ensure shipment activity, documentation, and customer communication are accurate, timely, and effectively managed. Lanter Delivery Systems is a national logistics company and a leader in overnight, unattended delivery of auto, agricultural and industrial parts from their customer's distribution centers to dealer locations. Requirements

  • Administrative or operations support experience required; leadership experience preferred.
  • Logistics, transportation, supply chain, or distribution experience preferred.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong data entry, reporting, and record-management skills with high attention to detail.
  • Clear and professional communication with customers and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing deadlines.
  • Problem-solving mindset with the ability to identify issues and drive resolution.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Positive attitude, strong ownership, and willingness to support team needs.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative and operational support to managers and the Operations team.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, drivers, dispatch, customer service, and operations.
  • Manage and verify shipping documentation, including bills of lading, delivery records, claims, returns, and customer paperwork.
  • Track shipments and maintain accurate, real-time updates in internal systems.
  • Communicate shipment status, service delays, and exceptions to customers and internal teams.
  • Investigate and resolve shipment discrepancies, paperwork issues, and service exceptions.
  • Maintain accurate data through timely entry, tracking, reporting, and system updates.
  • Support logistics workflows through coordination, reporting, and deadline-driven follow-up.
  • Prioritize business-critical tasks to keep daily operations running efficiently.
  • Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment by bringing solutions and supporting team needs.
