The Wake Forest PA program, part of the Wake Forest University School of Medicine, is seeking a part-time administrative support associate for its Boone campus. The program has a strong history of producing competent clinicians and operates across two campuses in North Carolina (Boone and Winston-Salem), with a two-year curriculum divided into didactic/preclinical and clinical education phases. This role is crucial for providing administrative support to the campus and program, involving close collaboration with the academic curriculum coordinator, operations administrator, and associate program director. Key responsibilities include acting as a liaison with Appalachian State University and the Office of the Dean for communication, space, and onboarding, as well as managing work orders and travel arrangements for Boone faculty and staff. The associate will also facilitate smooth curriculum delivery for both preclinical and clinical years, assisting with classroom setups, curricular events, labs, and exam proctoring. Additional duties involve maintaining office and student lounge inventory, preparing fixed asset inventories, ensuring back-up coverage, managing standard operating processes, and handling campus invoices and payments. The position also requires supporting the broader Department of PA Studies team during peak periods and engaging with external community stakeholders through various events. Occasional travel to the Winston-Salem campus may be necessary.
