About The Position

This is an emergency hire position for an Administrative Support Coordinator II within the Natural Resources Management and Environmental Sciences department. The role involves preparing and routing lecturer contracts, assisting with budget development, supporting recruitment efforts for new tenure-track lines, hiring instructional student assistants, onboarding new faculty, and aiding the department head and staff with special projects.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Ability to type 45 wpm.
  • Five years of general office support or technical experience.
  • Training at a vocational school or full-time college education may be substituted for two years of the required experience on the basis of one year of college education for 6 months of experience.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, create, and route AY26-27 lecturer contracts.
  • Work with the department head to develop a 26-27 budget framework for O&E and discretionary funds.
  • Assist with recruitment and recruitment planning for new tenure-track lines.
  • Hire ISA’s for AY26-27.
  • Onboard new faculty.
  • Assist department head and other staff with special projects as appropriate.
