The administrative assistant, student employee is responsible for providing routine customer service and performing clerical/administrative duties according to established procedures. This role supports the mission of the University and serves as an ambassador of the Q2 culture of service excellence. The employee will model, support, and hold others accountable to the University’s values. This position involves writing, editing, formatting, and proofreading documents, performing data aggregation, and responding to the needs of students, colleagues, and community members in a timely and courteous manner. Responsibilities include answering the phone, responding to email, forwarding messages, confirming appointments, maintaining office supply inventory, compiling and organizing information into reports, and maintaining filing systems. Daily use of basic word processing, database, and spreadsheet skills is expected, along with collecting, organizing, and composing correspondence for department staff. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
