About The Position
The University of Central Missouri is seeking applications for two student workers to assist with large undergraduate and graduate programs emphasizing occupational safety, industrial hygiene, environmental, and risk management.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- GPA 3.0 or greater in a safety program.
- Knowledge of occupational safety and health discipline.
- Word-Processing, Spreadsheet.
- Attention to detail.
- Communication skills, including oral, written and/or nonverbal.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and meet deadlines.
- Maintain confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Assist with Safety Olympics Team preparations.
- Maintain department social media accounts.
- Assist with safety equipment maintenance.
- Active participation in student safety meetings.
- Assist with front-end requests where needed.
