Requirements

  • Detail oriented with an emphasis on quality of work.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • Customer service background and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Four years of professional administrative experience.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States for any employer.

Nice To Haves

  • A master's degree in public or business administration or a related field will substitute for one year of the required experience.
  • Additional administrative, business or research experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Provides direct supervision to all employees with in the Court Records section.
  • Plans, organizes, and reviews the work of the employees to assure accuracy, efficiency, and effective operations.
  • Interprets federal and state laws, rules, regulations and department policy as they apply to the driving record.
  • Review and develop policies, procedures, process improvement pertinent to the section.
  • Ensures training of existing employees and all new employees to the section.
  • Monitor time/attendance, evaluate staff performance, and counsel employees on work related issues.
  • Collaborate across agency lines, other government agencies, courts/attorneys, federal/state officials, and the public.
  • Resolve issues, develop reports, and maintain accuracy of the section work and maintenance of all records.
  • Work with senior leadership on development of new process and procedures to improve effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Responsible for correspondence, works on special projects, resolve driver issues, and provide excellent customer service.
