About The Position

WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is looking for a qualified Administrative Student to join our growing team of healthcare professionals! WELL Health Diagnostic Centres is the largest operator of independent diagnostic health facilities in Ontario. More than 15,000 Ontario healthcare providers refer their patients to WELL Health Diagnostic Centre’s 40 accredited locations for OHIP-covered cardiology, imaging, women’s health, telehealth, and sleep diagnostic services.

Requirements

Eagerness to learn.
Embody a cheerful and positive attitude.
Industry experience is not mandatory, we are open to students from all programs.
Ability to work effectively with others as well as the ability to work independently.
Professional and articulate with excellent written & verbal communication.
Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and adaptability to various systems.
Have a cheerful, positive attitude and the ability to work effectively with others as well as the ability to work independently and treat everyone with respect, dignity and kindness.

Responsibilities

Provide patient service, administrative and clerical duties, and other activities to support the clinic.
Welcome patients, answering or redirecting general inquiries in person, by telephone, and via email.
Participate in team meetings on clinical, administrative and/or quality management.
Work collaboratively with team to assist in patient recalls and referrals.
Responsible for maintaining and contributing to a safe workplace.
Maintain infection and prevention control and ensure all work surfaces are disinfected on a daily basis.
Perform other duties as assigned by Manager.
