Requirements

  • Detail oriented with an emphasis on quality of work.
  • Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities, work under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Strong verbal and written communications.
  • Customer service background and willingness to work as part of a team.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
  • Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain driving records in accordance with KRS, ensuring proper suspension time, and requirements are met.
  • Research, evaluate, and processes entries received from in state and out of state agencies.
  • Interprets federal and state laws, rules, regulations and department policy as they apply to the driving record.
  • Plans, organizes and checks work of other employees to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide customer service to assist drivers understanding of their records via phone and online.
  • Trains new employees on out of state processes and procedures.
