The Administrative Specialist Senior assumes the duty of administrative support in order to optimize workflow procedures in the office. This Administrative Specialist Senior will serve as the point person for the System Safety Review Team and External Review Panel. This position will also serve as the point of contact for all queries, requests, or issues related to fatality and near fatality work. This position works closely with the Assistant Director and the Systema Safety Review Team. Related to fatality and near fatality work. Requirements

  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
  • Ability to work independently and with limited supervision.
  • Possess strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to adapt to the ever-changing needs of the Department and Division.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the fatality or near fatality internal review process database through coordination with the System Safety Review team.
  • Manage queries, requests, or issues around fatality and near fatality investigations and internal review
  • Review, compile and/or prepare operational records and reports for compliance with federal, state, and agency reporting requirements.
  • Schedule appointments or meetings for the Systems Safety Review Team to accomplish agency goals or objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required.
