By joining our Division of Driver License, Driver Education and Support, Graduated License Program as a Administrative Specialist Senior in Franklin County, you’ll have the opportunity to become an integral part of the program that supports and administers the young (teen) driver program in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.

Requirements

  • Working with Computers.
  • Working with confidential Information.
  • Working with laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Preparing written communications, often with email.
  • Working with and using electronic systems to assist customers such as phones.
  • Graduate of a college or university with a bachelor's degree.
  • Three years of professional, administrative, or business experience.
  • Additional education will substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
  • Additional administrative, business, research, and/or clerical experience will substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

  • Apply laws and rules in the direct support of the Graduated License Program (GLP/GLC).
  • Prepare, review, and interpret data and documents in support of the young driver programs.
  • Utilize electronic systems in direct support of customer services.
  • Enter complex data onto the electronic drive record to accurately reflect driver status.
  • Support Regional Driver License Offices in support for the GLP/GLC and REALID requirements.
