About The Position

This is a temporary position located at 65 Moore Drive Durham, NC 27713 - Durham County, with Department of Health and Human Services - PH - Epidemiology. Requirements

  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and two years of related administrative experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Assistance desired for review and reporting of STI labs to ensure data is reported accurately and appropriately for public and research use.
  • Data entry of lab reports and case review for completeness and accuracy; in accordance with STI guidelines, return case reports for additional information/correction to local health departments via NC EDSS; and determine if case meets case definition and mark case for reporting to CDC.
