WASHINGTON STREET, PHOENIX 85007 Posting Details: SALARY: $29.6109 GRADE: 21 CLOSING DATE: MAY 29, 2026 Job Summary: Responsible for monitoring ADOSH's grant-funded and state-funded financial activities and resources, to include assisting with the development of the annual federal grant budgets, spending forecasts and financial reports; equipment management; tracking open procurements; and, tracking personnel costs. Work with the Collection Unit to monitor the collection of ADOSH citation penalties. Position will report to the Accounting Supervisor 2 in the Accounting Division and indirectly to the ADOSH director. Researches and applies for new grant opportunities that benefit ADOSH or other ICA Divisions. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures.   • Experience or education in accounting, budgeting, and federal grant management and development.

Responsibilities

  • Assist Accounting with the development and monthly monitoring of ADOSH’s annual state and federal budgets.
  • Track ADOSH’s capital assets, computer equipment and other equipment and participate in the ICA annual asset inventory.
  • Track the collection of citations.
  • Track funding sources of assets and equipment to ensure grant adherence.
  • Work closely with Accounting, Procurement and MIS staff to ensure compliance with relevant policies.
  • Assist with the review of procedures to improve ADOSH program effectiveness as it relates to financial management.
  • Work with GAO auditors, federal auditors, and the State Auditor General by researching and providing information necessary to complete annual audits, the SEFA, and to enforce proper compliance with state and federal requirements.
  • Coordinate cash draws and federal reporting with the Accounting Division.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly programmatic reports for each open grant to ensure compliance with grant requirements.
  • Research & apply for new grant opportunities benefiting ADOSH or other ICA Divisions.
  • Work with ADOSH staff, Accounting, and Procurement to monitor ongoing open procurement contracts as they relate to ADOSH programs.
  • Monitor open purchase orders and contracts against budgets.
  • Regularly verify that all payroll labor distributions meet funding requirements, work with Human Resources to update labor distributions for positions when a position's funding sources change.
