The Arizona Historical Society is a nonprofit organization and state agency established in 1864. AHS connects people through the power of Arizona’s history. AHS collects, preserves, and tells the story of Arizona’s past through museum exhibitions, libraries and archives, historic sites, educational programs, and the Journal of Arizona History. AHS seeks to be the driving force strengthening Arizona’s communities by promoting history through leadership, partnership, and scholarship. The Administrator Services Officer 1 is responsible for analyzing financial information and preparing financial reports to determine or maintain record of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability, or other financial activities within Arizona Historical Society agency's accounts payable/receivable. This position follows policies and procedures, and makes recommendations for improvement. The Administrator Services Officer 1 is the agency's primary payroll and timekeeper, and directly responsible for various sections of the Board reports, Committee Meetings and internal budget discussions.
