About The Position

The Scheduling Manager plays a crucial role in managing the scheduling of Security Officers and supervisors at client sites. The primary responsibility will be to optimize the scheduling process to enhance operational results while minimizing avoidable overtime and un-billed time. You will be expected to resolve staffing issues and communicate effectively with the District Manager regarding site requirements and work priorities.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Associate degree or higher required OR 2 years of professional person management experience.
  • Professional data entry or data analysis experience required.
  • Advanced computer skills needed - proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel) and data management software (Smartsheet).
  • Ability to maintain professionalism in fast-paced work environments including in high pressure situations.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills required.
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Must have a high level of integrity and professional discretion.
  • All candidates must be willing to participate in Securitas' pre-employment screening process, including drug screen and background investigation.

  • Conflict resolution and de-escalation skills a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain continuous site coverage by managing schedules, tracking time-off requests, and responding to call-offs, absences, and emergency situations.
  • Schedule Security Officers and supervisors at client sites while optimizing staffing levels and minimizing avoidable overtime.
  • Manage and maintain an adequate on-call security force to cover vacancies as needed.
  • Coordinate daily schedules and assignments for Field Supervisors and communicate schedule changes as they occur.
  • Ensure accurate timekeeping, payroll, and billing data within the automated resource system by verifying reports and correcting discrepancies.
  • Interface with payroll and accounts receivable departments to resolve timekeeping, billing, and payroll issues.
  • Maintain working knowledge of client contracts, posts requirements, and staffing obligations.
  • Serve as a liaison between clients, branch management, supervisors, and staff to resolve scheduling, training, billing, or payroll concerns.
  • Advise branch management and/or Human Resources of staffing needs and open positions.
  • Assist with screening, interviewing, and onboarding Security Officer candidates.
  • Maintain records of Security Officer qualifications, certifications, and required training.
  • Recommend corrective action or removal of Security Officers from posts based on performance issues or client feedback.
  • Perform additional administrative and operational duties as required to support branch operations and service delivery.
