About The Position

Impact Health PC is a leading advanced practitioner group serving skilled nursing facilities across the Northeast. We specialize in Medical, Psychiatric, Wound Care, and Palliative Care and are committed to providing high-quality, patient-centered care. We are looking for an organized, dependable, and personable Administrative & Recruitment Assistant to join our team in Orange, CT. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to build experience in administration, recruitment, and healthcare operations. The position will start at approximately 25 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a 30- or 40- hour position as you develop in the role and take on additional responsibilities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Professional phone and email communication skills.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, or similar programs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain organized records.
  • Ability to communicate professionally with employees, applicants, vendors, and other contacts.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling employee and applicant information.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently while also taking direction and working as part of a team.
  • Willingness to learn administrative, recruitment, and HR processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous administrative, customer service, office, or recruiting experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage incoming phone calls, mail, and general office communications.
  • Organize and maintain internal documents and records.
  • Assist with general office organization and day-to-day administrative tasks.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating coverage as needed.
  • Assist with the recruitment process from initial applicant contact through interview scheduling.
  • Screen applicants and help identify candidates who meet position requirements.
  • Schedule interviews and communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Follow up with applicants regarding next steps and required information.
  • Provide candidates with information about available positions, benefits, and role requirements.
  • Maintain accurate and organized candidate records.
  • Assist with additional recruitment and HR-related tasks as needed.
