About The Position

JOB SUMMARY: The Administrative Receptionist attends to visitors and deals with inquiries on the phone and face to face. He or She also supplies information regarding the Agency to the general public, clients, and customers, and provides clerical support for the administrative staff.

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED is required.
  • Knowledge of computers and relevant software applications including MS Office and Internet.

Responsibilities

  • Greet persons entering the office
  • Answer telephone, screen, and direct calls
  • Take and relay messages
  • Provide information to callers
  • Direct persons to correct destination
  • Deal with queries from the public and customers
  • Ensures knowledge of staff movements in and out of building
  • Prepare letters and documents
  • Sign for and keep a log of packages received for LCAA and employees and deliveries go to correct person/program ensure
  • Assist administrative staff members with general clerical duties as needed.
  • Distribute bid packets and accept bids
  • Assist persons with on-line employment applications
  • Keep front office neat and organized
  • Keep information area stocked
  • Scan and index newspaper articles with hand scanner
  • CAPTAIN Intake and Data Entry
  • Preparation of Safety Topic for Meetings
