The Contract Administration Section oversees the processing of all procurements for the NYPD to meet the needs of the Department. The purchases overseen by the Contract Administration Section include various types of contracts such as construction related procurements, plant management, information technology needs, emergency contracts, and contracts for specialized goods and services. The Contract Administration Section is responsible for ensuring that all procurements are processed in accordance with the City’s Procurement Rules and Procedures. The New York City Police Department seeks an exceptional procurement professional who is highly motivated and detail oriented, to serve as an Administrative Staff Analyst. The successful candidate will have worked in a fast-paced, agency procurement/contract section and have extensive experience in developing solicitation documents and handling a variety of City procurements.
