About The Position

Village Handcrafted Cabinetry is looking for an organized, dependable Administrative Office Support professional to join our team. This is a full-time, temp-to-permanent opportunity for someone who enjoys a busy office environment, is comfortable handling a variety of responsibilities, and can work well with different departments throughout the company. This person will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers while also providing day-to-day administrative support to the Front Office, Experience Center, Design, Sales, and other departments.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an administrative, office support, or reception role.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Professional and friendly communication skills, both in person and over the phone.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working as part of a team.
  • High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience coordinating meetings or events is a plus.
  • Familiarity with shipping systems, filing systems, or basic bookkeeping is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and employees and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
  • Answer and route incoming calls and general inquiries.
  • Receive, sort, and distribute mail, packages, invoices, and deliveries.
  • Handle UPS shipping and receiving, outgoing mail, and client sample shipments.
  • Maintain an organized and professional front office and reception area.
  • Order and maintain office and janitorial supplies.
  • Enter purchase orders as needed.
  • Provide general administrative support including data entry, filing, scanning, copying, and document preparation.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings.
  • Create and maintain client binders and job documentation.
  • Maintain the showroom sample program, including ordering supplies and sending samples to clients.
  • Support the Experience Center, Design, and Sales teams as needed.
  • Help plan and coordinate company events for employees, clients, and trade partners.
  • Coordinate employee recognition activities, including birthdays and other celebrations.
  • Schedule Safety Committee meetings, distribute action items, and follow up on open items.
  • Coordinate with Maintenance and IT when service is needed for the building or office equipment.
  • Provide backup support to other office staff as needed.
