About The Position

Join our team as an Administrative Medical Assistant, where you’ll support our healthcare team with both clinical and administrative tasks, making sure our patients get top-notch care from the moment they walk in. You’ll be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service and keeping our office organized and efficient.

Requirements

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • Experience in a medical office, especially front desk duties such as check-in/out.
  • CPR certification required (or must be obtained within 90 days).
  • Comfortable with EMR software, Microsoft Office, and other basic office technologies.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure, manage time effectively, and handle multiple priorities with ease.
  • Ability to work as a team player and independently.
  • Must be available to work scheduled hours, arrive on time, and be ready to work.
  • Successful completion of a drug screen and criminal background check is required; random drug testing may also occur.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and work effectively in a virtual office setting.

Nice To Haves

  • Completion of a Certified/Registered Medical Assistant/Medical Secretary program is a big plus.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting our healthcare team with clinical and administrative tasks.
  • Ensuring patient safety, bolstering office efficiencies, gathering important health info, and staying calm under pressure when emergencies arise.
  • Working closely with nurses and providers to make every patient’s experience smooth and positive.
  • Delivering top-notch service in person, by phone, or online as the first point of contact for patients.
  • Managing the lobby and multi-line phones.
  • Handling filing, data entry, and office tech.
  • Navigating our Electronic Medical Records (“EMR”) system and other software.
  • Ensuring patient and records confidentiality.
  • Joining staff meetings and team activities.
